Joe McGowan has been playing the bass professionally for over 25 years. Growing up in Los Angeles he cut his teeth in the nightclubs of the Sunset strip in Hollywood. Over the years he has done it all from original music projects to cover bands. Joe has played most of the venues San Diego and Los Angeles have to offer. Covering all types and styles of music from hard rock to folk music. Joe brings his steady groove and stage presence to Da Groove. His philosophy on the bass is that of an offensive lineman in football, stay in the trenches and the mud of the groove. He always says "The money is from the 7th fret down"
